ARMIN ONLY Intense World tour
For the upcoming world tour off Armin Only we were asked to develop two custom balloon drop systems within just 3 weeks. One system consists of 2 large bags which can carrier each up to 200 (50cm) big balloons. One of the key needs for this system was the height, because Armin van Buuren is preforming all around the world in high and low venues the bags had to be very compact so they don’t block the party peoples view to the immense stage in the low venues. Together with ShowTex we developed two 18meter long bags which can easily be mounted on any truss structure. MotionFX developed 14 high power magnets which were implemented in the bags. A custom control unit with a couple of safety features, all necessary certifications and paperwork and off they went!
GRID ROCKET HOLDING FIXTURES
Unlimited FX needed an update on their sledges for their grid rocket system. Guided on a wire rope the grid rockets are being fired at any venue or event you can think of. After a short meeting with the client and analyzing all there technical input and needs, a simple update to the original system could no longer satisfy their needs. There for MotionFX came up with a whole new approach off mounting the grid rockets on the wire rope, easy, fast and safe. Within 24hours we were capable of showing a full assembled prototype for approval! Finally we made 40 grid rocket holding fixtures for the >4 seconds rockets and 40 grid rockets holding fixtures for the <4 second rockets. Complete with the necessary certification for flying these rockets holders over the audience.
